Why cant I find my 1099k form from 2017 ?
I need help I am doing my taxes and without that I cant finish.
If Square had to give you one it would be here https://squareup.com/dashboard/business/taxes
Not everyone has to get a 1099-k. Per the IRS rules, You must have sold over $20,000 in credit card sales AND had 200 or more individual transactions in the calendar year in question. The only variable is if you are registered in Massachusetts or Vermont then the credit card sales over $600 will get one regardless of the number of transactions.
If you aren't getting on from Square you can look up what you took in for tax reporting here. https://squareup.com/dashboard/sales/reports/sales-summary
VanKalkerFarms is correct, however let me add that 1099-K forms do not need to be distributed until January 31. (Similar to how an employer has until January 31 to deliver W-2 forms to their employees.) So it may be a few days yet before yours shows up, assuming you will even be getting one.
