Where can the customer add their shipping address in the Online Store?

When using the "link to checkout" option how do I get the address of the customer to ship them their item? 

I'm not seeing an option to request the address like when I create invoices. I just want to be sure before I use this feature that I will get the address when an order is placed.

Yes, once your customer clicks on the "checkout" button it will ask for address, phone... etc.
