When I plug in reader, my music app pops up as if I plugged in head phones.

Need help!!!! I have an LG V10 with 6.0 version software. My mag stripe reader wont work. I updated square app. When I plug in reader, my music app pops up as if I plugged in head phones. Location is turned on, I tried digging thru phone to find options but not seeing anything. I don't want to pay extra to manually enter. How do I fix this!!!!

@Improvemyhomect - Sorry to hear about the trouble! Have you already had a chance to delete, and then reinstall the Square Register app?
