What do I do if a card does not scan?

What do I do if a card does not scan? I am new to this and didn't get the chip reader.

Hi @Looft1 — welcome to the seller community and sorry to hear about the trouble with your reader.

 

It sounds like you're currently set up with the Square Magstripe Reader. Are you receiving any kind of error message when you try to swipe cards?
