Updated my square app it says loading for hours and I can’t get it to open

I updated square app. It says it’s finished & try open it just spins says loading but it’s not loaded all day. Is there anything I can do?

I would recommend deleting the app and reinstalling it.  Sounds like there may have been an error downloading the app.
