There used to be a GO button in Dashboard when you clicked on a specfic Item. It used to take you to Location specific Inventory Management.
Now, when I click on Location and click on Start Tracking, it only pops up a small window where I can manage inventory for a specific item.
Now, I cannot replace my entire items library anymore as the only way to do so was in Inventory management for a Location by importing and over-riding existing items and inventory.
When I try to do this from main Dashboard, it keeps on adding the same items again and again.
PLEASE HELP!!!! I am very close to giving up on you guys.

@kshah - Thanks so much for bringing this up. As part of some of our recent upgrades to our inventory system, there is no longer a need to navigate to an location-specific dashboard. You'll be able to manage the inventory for all locations from a single place. In the spreadsheet, you can mark Y or N in the location column to designate if you'd like that item to be available. You can also mark the stock for that item in the following column.
As for the ability to "Replace" (vs. "Merge") the Item library, this is a high priority fix. Our engineers are currently working to bring this functionality back ASAP.

Hi...The functunality that you describe sounds like exactly what I wanted Square to do; however, my square dashboard does not look any different from before and when I export Inventory or Items from a specific location, the reports lookt he same as before. When can I expect my dashboard to be updated to the newest version so that I can take advantage of this massive time saver?

I see no "Location" column in the sample export --- and therefore there seems to be no way other than item by item to move my inventory into the location. Of course I need it tomorrow 😕 so upset.
Where is your quality control team at?!
Hi @bookladykate, sorry we didn't see your post sooner! Were you able to upload your Inventory? It should show as it's own column with downloading the template now.
I have 2 locations set up. It is not asking me to replace the Item Library. . . it is just duplicating the items. Any suggestions?
