USB cord not Supported

I bought a 40ft USB cord for my printer to move the printer elsewhere...when I plug the cord in it says USB Device Not Supported.

It is a SNANSHI Long Printer Cable 40 ft Active Printer Cable USB 2.0 Type A Male to Type B Male Printer Scanner Cable for HP, Canon, Lexmark, Epson, Dell, Xerox, Samsung etc

I've been researching whether using a longer cable or extension is usable for these also. With it being a kitchen printer, it's not usual super close to the printer, so it makes sense to be able to use longer cables.

From my research

1. USB as a standard is not meant to go over long distances, so you need an active repeating cable, which can be super hit or miss on whether they work. I tried a microcenter 32' and 50' and neither would work.

2. According to a post Square posted a few years ago that I just found today, they don't recommend one over 25', so you would want to use an ethernet based kitchen printer. Wish they would call this out specifically, so we didnt have to go through the hassle of researching long USB cables that don't work. https://www.sellercommunity.com/t5/Questions-How-To/What-is-the-longest-USB-cable-available-for-conn...
