Tie a sale to an autoresponder?

Is there a way to tie certain item sales to trigger an autoresponder message so that the buyer can get a welcome email and instructions to take the next steps?

There isn't an automated feature that pushes out a welcome email but with Square Marketing, you can target a specific group of people to send email campaigns to - whether first time visitors or top spenders. Note: Square Marketing does require a subscription.
