Subscribing

My free trial recently ended, where I am using Square's POS with only 1 terminal here in the shop. I am confused about "Subscribing" however. Do I really need to do this? Is it beneficial for me to pay the $60/monthly or should I continue to pay per transaction? I guess my question is what is the difference. Thanks!

Thanks for posting in the Seller Community. 

Are you referring to Square for Retail? If so, it depends on whether you need the additional features that come with it. I would take a look at this article which compares Square POS and Square for Retail.
