I started created an option set directly in my online store. When I did this, I got some display options: pull-down, radio buttons or colors.
I chose radio buttons but when I applied, it didn't seem to work properly. It would only show one radio button instead of two.
So I deleted my option set from the online store, and moved to my dashboard and created the option set from there. In this place, I am unable to choose the type of display. It is automatically a pull-down list.
Can you explain if I am missing something?
I would really like for the radio buttons to work but I don't understand why I am not seeing this display choice anywhere else.

Whenever you added those variations to your Dashboard, if you have Square Sync turned, will show in your Online Store.
Are you seeing them available in the Online Store? Or are they just showing in your Dashboard?

When you create options in your Dashboard you don't have choices as to how you want to have them displayed. It's only pulldown list.
It's not a problem of synchronization I'm talking about. It's just that the options in the online stores are not available in the dashboard.
I downloaded pictures so that you can see you don't have a choice in the Dashboard.

in the online store you have three display options when creating an option set
in the dashboard, you have 1 choice (pulldown)
@amptc thank you so much for the screenshots. When you create the items in the Dashboard, then go to edit them in the online store do you still see the same issue?

That works but you have to admit that it's double the work. Having the online store choices directly in Dashboard, would simplify things. It's pretty confusing not to have the same options whether you work in the Dashboard or in the Online Store. It's easy to forget to make a change!
Something for the developers to consider.
