Star SM t300i stuck in "UART mode"

I have a Star SM t300i stuck in "UART mode".  I have tried to change to the bluetooth setting.  It keeps reverting to UART mode.  I figure it is a hardware issue.  open to options to fix.  thanks.

Hello @mcraignan, I've never experienced the "UART mode" your referring to. 

Another community member might be able to might have an answer to this, but I recommend reaching out to Star's Support Team since they could provide you with troubleshooting steps to get you up and running!
