Square for Restaurants: What is "Separate 1 Item" for?

On square for restaurants, when you click an item on a check, otions pop up to "Edit", "Move to...", "Repeat" etc.  One of the options is "Separate 1 Item".  What is "Separate 1 Item" for?  Nothing seems to happen when we click it...

Hi @Stanley! If you add multiple of the same item to a check you’ll see it appear as 3 x [Item Name]. Then, if needed, you can tap Separate 1 Item and it’ll separate these into individual line items. You can then comp/void one of these items!
