I am getting very frustrated with this service and I am a new user on a trial. Definitely already considering a switch to one of your competitors. The latest isue is I spent hours inputting appointments and prices and now the prices don't appear in my register "items" on the app. The items entered into my appointments don't appear at all on my square dashboard on computer....and from app the items show with Price listed as "variable". If you select and try to sell them they charge 0$. Emailing customer service hapens at a snail's pace. Please help!
Hi there. Sorry to hear you're having trouble.
Right now you should be able to click checkout from the Appointments Details screen.
If you have a service scheduled with a set amount, it automatically populates the Square Register app with your services, customer, and amount to be charged.
These services will save within your Square Register App as a variable priced service, however since they're not technically "Items" that were created in your Item Library, they do not appear in your Square Dashboard Item Library.
These Services are stored in your Square Appointments Dashboard in the Services Tab.
EJ, the checkout process DOES NOT work if you are checking out at a secondary location, it's very buggy. Customer name gets added, thought it often appears not to - but the big issue is the service(s) they're checking out for DO NOT get added to the sale! Works fine at primary location, but if you are checking out at any other location its big fail!
@sylvia393 You'll want to make sure Register and Appointments are logged in with the same account. Multiple locations aren't supported at this time, but our Product Team is working on this feature request.
