Square app compatible with old iPad 2

I own a very old iPad 2 and it works fine, but after several years away I tried to load the Square  point of sale app onto it from the Apple Store and there seems to be no version that is compatible. I need to use my iPad2 for point-of-sale. Suggestions please?

HI, Square is only compatible with devices running iOS 12 or later.  Square will not work on iPad 2 which is iOS 9.  Apple no longer sends updates to the iPad 2.  Current iPad iOS is 16.
