Square Terminal and sign and tip receipts

The first couple of sales the receipts work okay.

After that the customer receipt prints first.

Some customers don't want receipts so i would rather not have that printing first.

The customer copy doesn't have a tip line or signature line.

Then i have to print another receipt so the tip line is included on it.

I would like to find out how to fix this.

Hi @kekhoff, it sounds like your Terminal is working as expected.

 

Currently, if you enable the setting Always print itemized receipt, when you tap "paper receipt" an itemized receipt will be printed first followed by the sign and tip copy. The itemized receipt and sign and tip receipt are kept separate necause the Termainl printer doesn't automatically cut receipts.

 

If you don't want an itemized paper receipt, then you can send your customer an email or SMS receipt.
