Square Progress Invoices and Point of Sale App

I see that the square progress invoices are helpful in some

ways but I would like to be able to create a progress invoice on the Square Invoicing App and then take my initial deposit using my POS chip reader. Is it correct that this is not possible?  
1. To create a progress invoice via the Square Invoice App?

and 

2. To take an initial deposit in person via the Square reader?

Hey @Travlane. You're correct- taking partial payments for an invoice on the POS is currently a feature request. Not sure what type of device you're using, but it might be worth mentioning that I believe our Beta team is still recruiting sellers for in-person payments on invoices on Android- is that correct @kellyj?

There's also not a way to create a progress invoice at this time for your customers, but I do see how that would be really helpful. And a great feature, at that! I'll pass this along to our Product team for sure.

Hi Nika, when you say that there is not a way to create a progress invoice at this time, you are referring to in the invoice app correct?  Progress invoices are only available on the website?

@Travlane Right! I'm referring to the app. You can see progress on the main page of the Invoice page on the Dashboard that shows what is overdue or not as a whole.
