Is it possible to send an email to a single customer rather than a list?

Yes—you can do this by creating a new campaign from your Marketing tab > Create Campaign > once you reach Audience, click Custom > Create New Group > Manual Group > select the appropriate customer > Next > Use only for this campaign > Save.
