So when I set up the contactless chip reader, do I HAVE to connect to tablet? and can I play music?

Does it have to connect to that tablet? I'm using it in my car. I currently just use the swipe reader and use the app on my spare phone. And does the Bluetooth aspect of it make using an aux cord or Bluetooth for music impossible?

Hey @Jarod! Welcome to the Seller Community and kudos on your first post. 👍

This is a great question! Currently you can only have one Bluetooth device paired at a time. So you would have to choose between pairing the reader or using your device to play music via Bluetooth. 

Also, when ever you open Square Point of Sale it will take over the headphone-jack. Square uses the microphone in the headphone-jack to communicate with the Free Magstripe Reader. If you have headphones or an auxiliary cord plugged in you will hear a loud beep once you open the App.
