I have products and services available for purchase on my Square website. Adding either to the cart and checking out works fine. However, if a Product And Service are both added to the cart, My customers get the following message when they view their cart and it won’t allow them to advance to check out.
“Unfortunately since your order is already set as shipping, you cannot add other items under another fulfillment method. Please remove the items or update your selected fulfillment method.”
My Products have the option for the customer to pay for Shipping or Pick-up at Store. If two products are added to the Cart (with no Services), and the customer selects one with Shipping and the other with Store Pick-up, Square doesn’t split up the items into two sections. It forces the customer to select Either pick Shipping or Store Pick-Up for there entire order.
Services of course don’t have the option to ship. I assume this is what’s causing the Error Message but I don’t know how to fix it.
