When we made the switch from our Square Stand (using our iPad) to the register, we were SO excited for all the additional features. However, one feature we miss that has greatly impacted our business, is the ability to search for items in the transaction tab. If a customer comes in without a receipt (or gift receipt) we are not able to look up their transaction to process the refund. This is incredibly frustrating to us, but more importantly our customers as it puts us in an unfavorable light with them. We would be SO appreciative if Square could add this feature to the Square Register because it would make our customers SO HAPPY!!
this is a great suggestion- we actually had this issue today and while we were able to search from our laptop it would be nice to search from the register.
I agree wholeheartedly!! Not having the feature to look up transactions by item has made the return process more difficult. Worst thing about switching to a terminal. I hope there are plans to add capability.
