I am using QB Desktop Pro 2013. When I select the "Square QuickBooks Integration" Link in my APPS center, it opens a new web page with the message: "Thank you for signing in! Unfortunately, there is no QuickBooks Online company or QuickBooks Accountant account associated with jones***@***.com. But don't worry! Here's a few options to get you to the right place..."
I have worked with Intuit to troubleshoot and everything is good on the QuickBooks end. My account with Square is noted as ACTIVE in the Intuit center, as well.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Erin
I have a similar problem and I am using QB Desktop 2016! No answer in 2 weeks??
Hello @jonesem4c and @AMSGreenLLC, thanks for surfacing and I'm so sorry for the frustration. I'm running this by our product liaison team and I'll circle back as soon as I have any further insight. Thanks for your patience.
Update:
I was able to confirm that Intuit is not supporting QuickBooks Desktop directly anymore. Going forward, you may consider using Commerce Sync as an alternative for reporting.
I hope this helps. Thank you for your patience and please let us know if you have any other questions.
@Tom,that's not good 😞 I have the desktop version because I didn't like the online version of Quickbooks and don't want to put out a monthly fee just to use it May through December. It also looks like Quickbooks Desktop doesn't import csv files, instead its a copy and past from one screen to the other. That caused problems for me the first time I tried to export my customer names and addresses from Square to Quickbooks.
