Promo code for online store to track items for 3rd party fundraiser.

I'd like to set up a promo code to offer to customers so that I am able to track all sales using that particular code in order to donate to a specific charity. (For instance, 10% of all online sales using the promo code XYZ are donated to Charity XYZ). 

Can I set this up basically as a 0% coupon? Is that even possible?

Once set up, can I search all sales by that coupon code so that I can tally the totals to calculate my percentage?

Any thoughts or other suggestions as to how to make this work?

@You can absolutely do this, it’s exactly what I do!

You can create a coupon & code for $0.00001 and that will turn into $0 but still allow it to be created and applied. 

Customers would then enter in that coupon code, and then afterwards you can go into Transactions on your web dashboard, search by discount, and type in that code. It will show you the list of and the $ Amount Total for all transactions using that coupon code. You’d then use that total to apply your 10% to donate
