Processing a voucher as payment

I have a potential client that wants to use my services (resume writing). However, she only has a voucher to use for payment. Can I use Square Payments to process a voucher? If so, how?

Square will give you the ability to add a transaction as "Other Tender". However, we don’t have a way to process pre paid vouchers via the app, you would only be using Square to balance your books. 

If this is a common case for you, I would suggest considering Square Invoices.
