Problem with pickup date/time in online store.

I am having a huge issue with my online store, https://krumblys.square.site.

If I select one item from any category, the pickup time and location is correct per what I have set up for the location at Settings > Pickup and Delivery.

However if I add a second item, the pickup time shows incorrectly as "Sunday November 22nd after 12:00 a.m."

If I add a 3rd item, it shows correctly. Then if I add a 4th item it is wrong again and if I add a 5th it is correct again. And so on and so forth, so it seems.

Basically if you have an odd number of items the estimated pickup time is correct. Otherwise it defaults to Sunday November 22nd after 12:00 a.m. (I don't have anything anywhere that is turned on and set for that date/time.)

If while the date is showing incorrectly you go ahead and hit "Checkout" the day does change to the correct day but at the top of the screen the message "Pickup at the chosen location is currently unavailable" appears.

It does seem that if you just proceed and ignore this message it will work fine, but messages like the one above are not ones that customers will just ignore. They'll most likely just give up on using the service.

I'd be curious to check out some other people's online store to see if they are having the same problem as this doesn't look like a setting or anything specific to my store.

Thanks,

Bryan

Well, with no help from Weebly or Square support I got this working for myself.

I was aware that Square had recently rolled out "self service" ordering but I didn't need the feature so I never looked into it. Last night I had the idea that since my regular online ordering wasn't working the mew self serve module might instead so I went to one of my locations and turned it on. It really doesn't suit my needs as it is table delivery-based but for some reason turning it on did correct the issue I had been experiencing in the cart with the incorrect delivery date and time when there were an even numbered items selected.

Nowhere in the announcements about self serve ordering did square state that self serve needed to be turned on and set up even if it's not going to be used so I'm chalking this one up to rushed feature implementation and sloppy QA testing. While I do appreciate that new features are being offered if they come at a cost of messing up an existing feature I'm relying on it's just not worth it.

Meanwhile I went through three services with my food truck where customers were confused that our shopping cart was giving them a pickup date of over a week away and/or would tell them that items weren't available for pickup. Who knows how much business I lost out on due to customer frustration.

At least we're back up and operational now for this weekend thanks to my tenacity and curious nature.

Yeah, I'm familiar with all the settings and my store (without any changes) has worked fine in the past. I think something is wrong on the back end.
