Printing receipts

We are getting our square set up for our new busisness and I need to know what I need to have to print receipts. Our big customer will not accept emailed receipts. Thanks

Related question. If we have a printer connected to print receipts on site, do we also have to send email receipts, or can/will the email receipt ability be turned off? We are looking at using Square for a large conference that gets long lines, and we don't want to prolong the checkout process by requiring people to enter their email addresses. I'd like to know the answer before we purchase printers. Thanks!

You do not have to use the email option but a lot of customers prefer that rather than stuffing more paper in their pockets. You can simply print the receipt when the screen comes up asking print/text/email/no thanks. 

 

In settings/printers/printer name you can choose "automatically print receipt " and it will skip the digital receipt question and print a paper copy.
