Printer Connected Cash Drawer Does Not Show Up

We use a Volcora cash drawer connected to a Star TSP100 thermal printer, but we don't see a cash drawer listed.  So we cannot see or select any "Start Drawer" function. The drawer does open when a sale is made, just no cash management options. Is this normal? We are using the Free option

@UMCVFD Your hardware setup is not the issue.  I have a similar connected register and mine works fine.  Most likely your account doesn’t have the Cash Management add-on enabled.  To do this:

 

  1. From your POS, go to More -> Settings
  2. On the left hand side, there should be a Cash Management Add-on enabled.  If not, click on the +, find it and enable it.
  3. Then go back and find that new add-on in the list, select it, and set up cash management as you need it.

After that you should be good to go!
