Hello, it's me again!
I am very slowly building up my inventory, and I've noticed that when I set a price it doesn't populate to all available options. Same with shipping weight.
Perhaps it would be helpful to know what it is I'm selling -- press-on nails. The customer can select set size (to fit their nails) as either a pre-sized set or a custom set, none of these options change my cost. Since everyone's getting 10 nails the shipping weight also remains the same across the board, but again, I notice that it's not populating for all available options.
When I click the bulk edit actions I do not find price or shipping weight. Is there a way to ensure that no matter what options a customer selects that price and shipping weights will be properly applied, or does that happen *unless* I change something?
Thanks to all SO MUCH you've been so, so helpful, it's deeply appreciated!
HI, shipping and pricing need to be done at item level. Each individual item needs to have pricing and weight. There is no bulk edit for these options.
Wow, you are QUICK on it! Thank you so much.
Just to clarify, IF I don't edit price & weight for each option, does that change the price & weight? Or will it be the same no matter what the customer selects?
HI, can you please clarify that question?
I see that the first option, in this case small short almond, is priced and weight shown. But as I scroll down the list the price and weight are blank. I'm unsure as to what a customer would see if they selected any other option besides small short almond since what I see is blank.
If I need to clarify more I'll create another item listing and take screenshots to hopefully better demonstrate what I'm asking.
HI, thank you for describing that. If a customer selects an item without a price and weight, the system will not allow checkout. No price to buy and no shipping weight to calculate shipping fee.
Got it, thank you!!
