Payroll: I have to enter totals for 1099 people from 2018

I started with Square Payroll in March for my 1099 people. I have to enter the totals for each person from january 1 2018 through March 7 2018. If i submit and say 'pay with check', am I safe in assuming no monies will come out of my account as this is for 1099 purposes?
Welcome to the Seller Communit @djstat! You're right, you can select pay with check and no funds will come out of your account. Square Payroll will only use the totale for your Form 1099-Misc total.
