Paying Vendors in my store

I have an Antique shop with several vendors and want to be able to add the descriptions at the end of sales day, not as the items are sold. How can I do that and is it even possible? They do not keep an inventory of their items.

Hmmm. Descriptions of the items? Or just of the sales overall at the end of the day? Do you use a cash drawer? If so, you will have an opportunity to leave a note when you close your drawer for the day.
