I remember when AMEX sent out stuff. Loved the little totes each year. We would do those as give aways for certain purchases. 

I think this year we'll be doing a discount on future orders to drive our online sales.

OMG...we used to do the same thing!!!  Even would blow up the balloons the sent and use as decorations around our popcorn bar....those were the days lol 🙂

Thanks for this information Tom.  We weren't going to participate in Shop Small Business this year because we're not fully prepared, but after reading through this and clicking the supporting link, I think I'm going to set up a e gift card shop small event.  To build loyalty to our salon and hopefully get some new loyal clients through the doors 🙂
