Online Store and permissions, plus Completing orders

We set up an online store.  Selling gift cards that will be padi for through square, but we will send them ourselves electronically through another application

 

Two things.... I add 'Employees' in my dashboard and give them 'manager' permissions, but when I log them in they cannot see the orders nor do anything with them.  what is the point?

 

Administrator has to be used to process an order.  This makes no sense to me.  I cannot have staff hainvg 'god' access to the store to process a simple online order

 

Second, the order shows completed when I do log in as the administrator user, when in fact it is NOT processed until we send out the electronic gift card.  How can I control the order status?  There seems to be no options to change it.

Looks like you are correct.  I never needed any of our employees into the online store so I didn't know of this permissions limitation.  I just log in and print the orders and have them fill them.  Good Feature Request:

 

As far as completed orders.  Under Settings, there is an option to auto accepts all incoming orders.  This will happen after 2 days have gone by.  If this setting is on make sure you handle it within two days.  It is kind of hard on holiday weekends.  I use email confirmations to double check we have done them all.
