Online Store: Show Pick-Up as "default" in Cart?

Today, my cart items show SHIPPING as the default option. Customers easily miss the tiny drop-down option which will allow them to change to PICK-UP.  

Can this be reversed?  Can i have PICK-UP default?

There isn't a way to change the default option for items that are available for Pick up and Shipping. I see how that would reduce confusion for your customers and I'll share your request with the the Online Store team!

In the meantime, you might find it helpful to read this Community post about how to set up an item as Pick up or Shipping only. That way your customers don't have to choose a fulfliment type. 

Or you could create a separate item for each fulfilment type, include 'Pick up' or 'Shipping' in the item name, and add instructions for your customers in the description if needed. I hope this helps!

Has the Online system been modified so that delivery method defaults to Pick-Up, not shipping.  Most of our customers Pick-Up but miss that they have to change the delivery method from Shipping to Pick-up.  They are charged for shipping and then the charges need to be reversed.  I would like the delivery method to default to Pick-Up and only if they customer truly needs shipping would they modify the choice in the drop down. Thank you!

Great question, @nbsgeneral, and yes! You can change the default pickup method now. Go to Settings > Checkout > Advanced Settings and set the default fulfillment method there.
