Is there a way to add a discount "on the fly" during checkout? I am a pop-up vendor, and a customer at my last show discovered a flaw in the item they wanted to buy. It was a $30 item, and we mutually agreed that $10 off would be acceptable, due to the flaw. I did not have a $10 discount already programmed in to my list of discounts. I was unable to figure out a way to just take $10 off at the point of sale, and ended up just doing a manual transaction of $20 and adjusting my inventory afterwards (as well as now having inaccurate reporting of what actually sold).
I probably could have paused for a minute, went into the add-a-discount section, and then continued the sale... but the line of customers was getting long and I was getting flustered.
