Instant deposit is only a one time action when clicked correct? Will it revert back to the original deposit schedule? Or is it always instant deposit after you use it?

You're correct here, as initiating an Instant Deposit is a one time action. 

Your deposits will be sent to your linked bank account according to your set deposit schedule unless you make a change or initiate an Instant Deposit.
