Hello @Sor4rtemis thanks for your post. Every small business owner feels your pain! Google searches and getting your website noticed is a complex and sometimes unexplainable nightmare. There is a post here that discusses getting your website indexed, which requires a manual submission on your part as an initial step for Google and other search engines to "find" your new web site. It may take some time (maybe even weeks) to begin to show up in Google indexing and start to show up in searches. Also, make sure you have social media accounts that are active and updated; the more mentions your business has on the Internet can help with other sites finding you.
Getting your website to come up in search results is the result of SEO (search engine optimization). There is SO much involved in this that SEO Experts and companies exist just for this purpose. The most basic things you can do involving SEO pertain to how you label your items for sale, titles, descriptions...just for starters. If you search for SEO tips, you'll find a wealth of information.
And there is another level with Google searches that has to do with paid advertising. I suspect that is why you find another company that pops up on the right side when you do a search for your site. That other company may have paid Google to list their website if other keywords or info is put into the search bar. I know there's a ton of info here, and unfortunately the subject of SEO and Google searches is not easy to figure out. Start small and do some research every day and learn as much as you can about it. This isn't something that you can master in a day or two so don't get discouraged.
As far as your hardware purchase, if you are signed into your account when making your purchase, you can find your order number and receipt in your Account & Settings tab on the Online Dashboard. The steps are as follows:
- Sign into the Online Dashboard
- Select Account & Settings
- Click the Square Accessories drop-down
- > Order Status
If you were not signed in when placing your order, you should have received an order confirmation email with an attached receipt.
