Need an automated way to provide quantity discounts

We have a small Farmer's Market and would like an easy way to implement quantity discounts for a certain item.  For instance, if 3-4 of this item are selected, a 10% discount is automatically added to those items. If 5 or greater of item, a 20% discount (for instance).  We feel it would be too confusing for our cashiers to have to go into each item and apply a discount and would be prone to error. After searching the forum and Google, it does not appear this is possible.  If it is, please point me to the solution.

It is not currently possible to do it automatically but it is in active development for Square POS.  there isn't a timeframe public yet but I sure hope it is soon as 90% of my transaction have a quantity based discount I have to choose.
