Hi, Is there any way to get the SKU # to show up on the customer's order? We have Items such as Purses and each purse style/sku within that item listed. When filling the order we need the sku to be visible so we know which item to pull from inventory.
@LindaS - Happy to help advise. While there isn't a way to enable the SKU to appear, I definitely understand how this would be a useful feature for your business. I have seen some Square sellers actually include the SKU in the item name. This is the only workaround that I could think of for now. We're in the same boat. Our store needs skus to be visiable to customers on the website and on the invoice. Is there a way to do this 4 years later or do I have to go through all inventory and add to the descriptions?
This is still not really a great option, I cant think of any reason you couln't simply add a column to show the sku on the orders... I also need the SKU to be present on the item pages. It will take hours of work to go back and butcher the item names of all of our products (100's of them) and also painful to ensure that all future item entries will contain the information in their names. Please Square, address these issues so I don't have so many reservations paying for your upgraded service tiers!
How has this not been addressed or fixed yet! There is an option to show item description, there is a sku number for the item, why not make an option to have it on the invoice?
