My mobile cashiers don't have permission to pair a chip reader. How do I give them permission?

How do I give my mobile cashiers permission to connect a chip reader?

Mobile cashier permissions can be edited directly from the Team Settings on your Online Dashboard. Specifically in regards to Reader and Hardware settings, you can find this permission under the Account & Settings tab of your employees permission set. 

 

Here is a step by step walk-through:

  • Log on to the Online Dashboard
  • Select Team from the left-hand side navigation bar
  • Select the Team Member in question
  • Scroll and select Permissions from their employee profile
  • > Edit Permissions
  • > Account & Settings

From this tab, you can edit individual permssion settings for hardware and POS setup.
