My discount modifier isnt working

Hello Guys I was just wondering if anyone could help me with this issue as to why my square website will not automatically discount the items listed in the modifier, Im doing a 20% off this week but every time I try to check out It keeps the same standard price please someone help me

Welcome back to the Community!

Creating a discount, you have the option set it up to automatically to an items: Automatic Discount. So whenever you add that item to the checkout it will always be on there. 

Give that a try and let me know if that doesn't do the trick.
