Trying to change the name for a location, I accidentally changed the nickname.
When I tried to save, nothing happened, so I went back to the dashboard.
Trying to edit the location again, I discover the location is no longer there.
If I try to create the location again, it says the nickname is already in use.
Not sure how to recover the location, and I don't want to add a new one with the same information, to avoid duplicates and confusion.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.
That sounds strange. How many locations have you created in total?
It is not possible to completely delete a location or revert back from a multi-location account, so if the location is not listed in your locations tab you might not have saved it after creation.
What was reflecting in your Locations section of your Square Dashboard?

Not sure what happened or how it happened.
Today, the location is back. The content is a little bit messed up (schedule shows 3 time rows per day), but the important information is there.
I guess I will never find how or why this happened, but the location is back and I can proceed to create new ones.
