Hi there, I have a customer trying to use a MasterCard gift card. I ring it in. Keeps declining. She has the available balance due. How do I ring this up please?
it has to be the perfect amount on the card if you are trying to use it all. If the balance is $23.45 and you try to charge $23.46 it will fail. so I would contact the number on the back of the card and get the actual balance, you usually just have to call and enter the numbers on the card to get the balance.

yeah it is no different than running a credit card.
