Looking for invoice advice: Can you share your experience?

I'm looking for feedback from anyone creating long invoices  (50 + line items).  I have some specific questions too:

- How does square function when you are entering many charges on the same invoice?  

- Does the system freeze up or slow down?  

- Are your entries auto-saved? 

- Do you create monthly/quarterly invoices, entering items as you go, over the course of a billing cycle?

- What do you like about square invoicing compared with quickbooks online?

- What are the problems you have had?

- How does square function when you are entering many charges on the same invoice?  - Cumbersome & slowly. We have added a bluetooth keyboard to the register/ ipad stand. I find typing invoices on my pc through the dashboard much easier

- Does the system freeze up or slow down?  - not in my experience

- Are your entries auto-saved? - no, I have to manually save. But we have also added items on the register so invoicing is simple if you take the time to build items. 

- Do you create monthly/quarterly invoices, entering items as you go, over the course of a billing cycle? - we bill/ invoice when jobs are received, so many times per day. 

- What do you like about square invoicing compared with quickbooks online? - It is so easy for customers to pay, we have a POS sysytem with the register. Quickbooks Online is your bookkeeping software along with invoicing. With Square you cannot track expenses but with QB online you can build your entire financial profile BUT you really should have some experience with bookkeeping or an accoutant/ bookkeeper to work with. These 2 programs are NOT interchangeable.

- What are the problems you have had? - Apple IOS sucks. That is our biggest problem with the system. Everything else is great.

@3monkeyspad thanks for the feedback.  if i am understanding correctly, you like square for its POS function and easy-to-pay features.   it does not sound like you create multi-page invoices with terms (i.e. 10, 20, 30 day) on square.

@REMEDIES360 - While we don't specifically prohibit multiple page invoices, I don't believe that this functionality was tested throughly. This is the first time I've seen it mentioned. As for your question regarding terms, would you mind sharing a few more details? I'm not familiar with the lingo and don't want to mislead you in any response.
