I want to have a link that I can put on my QuickBook generated invoices that a client can use to pay their invoice. I am charging for services (coaching, training) that vary in prices, so I can't list items with associated prices. PayPal generates a link that a client can use to pay me and I'm wondering if Square has something similar.
Thanks.
@thumbprintcoach Yes, you can create an online payment link through the online dashboard under payments or through the point of sale. You would then manually share that link and copy paste it to the invoice for payment. You could also generate a generic invoice through square and just include that link to that invoice to pay and back reference it to the quickbooks invoice #. Both allow for custom amounts, but they do charge 2.9% + .30c per transaction due to a card not present transaction.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for the quick answer to my question. I will check that out and try it!

Just looked at the online checkout which has the Create a Link option. The problem is that I can't great a link that doesn't name a price. If I am billing a client for a training program I delivered, it would be priced on the number of hours and the subject. The next client might have a different program and price. I just want a link that allows them to pay me whatever is on their invoice. Hope that makes sense.
