The kits that are currently available in Square Shop do not accommodate the iPad (5th Gen) at this time.

I went to check on this and it looks like Heckler makes a WindFall Checkout Stand for iPad that's compatible with iPad (5th Gen) and the Contactless + Chip Reader. For more on compatible wireless printers, have a look here: Hardware Compatibility by Device.
