I know there is the credit card capture feature for appointments scheduled online, but what about appoitments scheduled in person or over the phone? How do you get credit card info for reserving appointments that way?

Currently, Square Appointments doesn’t support pre-authorizing payment cards or collecting security deposits for appointments booked in person. These features aren’t currently on the Square Appointments roadmap, but they’re definitely great ideas I’ll be passing to our development team.
You can definitely capture the full payment for the service if your customer books in person or over the phone.
Try sending them an invoice or swiping their card for the full amount in advance of their scheduled appointment.
Hopefully another seller can chime in and share their own work flow for this.
