I will be accepting pre-orders and customer info at a tradeshow, but will not be creating invoices until a later date. But, I would like to give them them the option to save their card on file in person. Is this possible through the 'save customer card on file' option?

@MapleXO Yes you can save a customer's card on file from the app or you can save it your online Square Dashboard without creating an Invoice!
Keep in mind that when you add a card on file that doesn't pre-authorize the card — and the card won't be charged until you send the customer an invoice. So just in case the customer's card is declined I suggest saving your customers phone number and email address so you can contact them if needed.
