The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Liability Waiver
Hello;
We are in the service industry and need clients to sign a liability waiver. Does Square offer or integrate with a 3rd party app which would allow us to upload our liability waiver.
Thank You
if you are using invoices you could set up contracts and or waivers that are attached to the invoice. here is more info https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/6302. this does not work with Square POS though.
yeah, that feature isn't a part of Square POS directly but you could use an app to track that. there are quite a few waiver apps and websites online to handle that part. I just did a google search and see there are some options to handle this, hopefully, you can make one of them work for you.
Hi @twistnsnap! Regrettably there's not a way to add a check box for your customers when they confirm appointments. Although I can definitely see how this would streamline your booking process.
I moved your question to this thread so you can check out some of the workarounds given above. But in the mean time, I'll make sure to let our Product team know that this is something being requested.

Wondering if there are any updates on this topic, especially now that Square is charging for subscriptions. I need customers to sign a waiver at POS. Having to email them after the purchase (via contracts) is not an option as Square generated emails end up in spam or junk mail often, or people don't read their emails. A third-party option like jot, as I understand it, has the sales go through Jot, so you loose the look of the Square website, and it costs significantly more. I only do online sales...also wondering if anyone knows of a cc processing company that would have this feature as I am seriously considering switching. The lack of custom fields in the checkout process is becoming more and more of a logistical nightmare as my business grows. I have to match sales to waiver master in order to find out who is registered for the classes I teach (for children) and often they have used different emails or, god forbid, they used afterpay, which does not require name etc and then it is a real time suck to solve the mystery of which payment goes with which waiver. Any suggestions that do not require an additional email to the customer are appreciated. Thank you!
