Is it possible to modify the UI and flow with Square POS / Register app?

Is there any possiblity to partner with Square POS / Register app to modify the UI and flow.  We want to capture customer name before an order is placed. Right now post a trsanction is created, a user is linked. 

Is there any way to customize square register uI?

If not, we are thinking to have deep integration with Squre PoS app. Kindly help us on how we can achieve this?
