Is it possible to link more than one bank account to a Square account?

you can only link to and deposit to one bank account.  you would have to disperse the funds to the correct people outside of Square if you are taking in the funds.

So, forgive me for this perhaps stupid question but I am a novice here and I am trying to understand properly how the linking of bank accounts works. Okay, for instance right now I have an outside bank account linked to my square app. If I want to receive deposits on my Square Card, do I need to unlink the outside bank and in lieu of the debit card associated with my outside account I will have to enter the Square Card there or does that works automatically, that is the Square Card is already linked to the app by default?

Your questions are not stupid - it can be a bit confusing when you're first starting up.  Once you have a Square Card, and it's been activated, all of your money from charged/debited sales are immediately available on your Card balance - you don't need to do anything to transfer funds to the Card, it happens automatically.  Also, no funds will be automatically deposited to your linked bank account.  If you want to transfer funds to the bank account, you have to do so manually.

In short:

• Wth an active Card, you don't need to do anything to have your funds available, and the Card itself has nothing to do with your bank account.
• You will need to manually transfer funds to your linked bank account when you need money put in there.
• You cannot transfer funds from your linked bank account onto the Square Card - once that money is in the bank account, it's completely separate from the Card's account.
