I want to sell a beverage in various quantities (e.g. single can, six pack, 12 pack). I listed them as options but they can only be selected via drop down menu. Can the options be displayed any other way? I want them to always be visible and show the price per can since it is cheaper per can as you buy more.
@hops ;
I use Variations for my fudge and when I select Fudge it gives me the Drop down too. The only thing I can think of is to have Items listed as Can of beer $5..... 6 pack $4.75 per Beer.... 12 Pack $4.50 per beer. or have pieces of paper written by the beer or at the register.
Thanks Keith. Yeah, I might just put them as individual items instead of options.
@hops ;
Your welcome the only other thing I could think of is if you wanted to keep track of each can you could make items with variations of the cans from a certain supplier to give a multiple discount but then you would need to scan each can etc.
what i am trying to say is like have a
Category : 12oz Miller Brands....
Items :Miller 12oz
Miller Lite 12 oz
Miller ???????? 12oz
Create a discount that when 6 items from Category miller are purchased price is discounted by X% or $X.XX,
The have it as an automatic discount.... so when you scan 6 cans of any can in the Miller category then this discount will be applied and create another discount the same way for a 12 pack. Then maybe you do the same thing for Coors but with the Coors products you could give Y% or $Y.YY off
Or maybe to you you could have a Category 12 oz cans and all manufactures are in this .... then if they buy 2 Millers, 2 Coors and 2 buds they would get the 6 pack price.
I have this type set up for my 16oz jars....
1 is $14.99
2 for $24.00 My discount is $2.99 per jar to get to $12 per jar
3 For $33.00 My Discount here is $3.99 per jar to get to $33.00 for the 3 jars
I also have an automatic discount for buying 12 and getting 1 free of my 28oz jars
here is how to set these up:
These apply without having to remember anything except to make sure they work correctly and that you have all the items in the discount.
